Mini Lab — Prompt Safety Audit
Your task: Review ALL prompts you built in Labs 3.1 through 3.4 for safety issues. Step 1: HIPAA Check — Does any prompt contain real names, dates, or identifying information? If yes, rewrite using fictional or de-identified alternatives.
Step 2: Hallucination Risk Check — Which of your outputs contain clinical facts (drug names, dosages, lab values, diagnoses)? For each: how would you verify this information in a real clinical setting?
Step 3: Accountability Check — For each document in your 5-step chain (Lab 3.4), who must review and sign off before it is used clinically? (Physician: SOAP note and SBAR. Pharmacist: medication list. Educator: patient letter.)
Step 4: Write a 1-paragraph ‘Prompt Safety Note’ for your complete workflow chain. State: what safety checks you performed, what risks remain, and what human review is required. |
