Key Points to Remember
- ✅ Al-Fātiḥah is recited in every rakʿah of every prayer — the Prophet ﷺ said there is no prayer for the one who does not recite the Opening of the Book.
- ✅ After completing it, the worshipper says Āmīn (“answer our prayer”).
- ✅ Schools differ on the follower reciting behind the imam: Ḥanafīs hold the imam’s recitation suffices for the congregation, while Shāfiʿīs require each person to recite it — phrase this per your course’s madhhab.
Action Item:
- for both the man and woman the right arm will be over left hand.
