Key Points to Remember
- ✅ Rising fully upright after Rukūʿ (the qawmah/iʿtidāl) is required before going down to Sajdah — the body must come to complete stillness.
- ✅ Samiʿa-llāhu liman ḥamidah is said while rising; Rabbanā lakal-ḥamd is said once standing upright.
- ✅ In congregation: say Samiʿa-llāhu liman ḥamidah and then Rabbanā lakal-ḥamd.
- ✅ Longer variants of the praise are also established, such as Rabbanā wa lakal-ḥamd, ḥamdan kathīran ṭayyiban mubārakan fīh.
- ✅ From this standing, the worshipper says Allāhu Akbar while moving down into Sajdah.
